My fascination and passion for weather dates back to my early days growing up in Kinnelon, NJ, particularly during the February 1978 and 1983 snowstorms which had a profound impact on me. While not a meteorologist and no formal training, I am a wildly passionate weather enthusiast. Anyone that knows me can attest to that. My interest and knowledge has grown over the decades through online courses, hours of reading meteorology periodicals, learning from professionals in the field, studying past weather patterns, just to name a few. Over the past 10 years, I’ve been forecasting all the seasons, via text early on to family, friends and to any who would listen. That expanded later via my Twitter and Facebook pages. Recently, I expanded to my website where subscribers can read my detailed pun-filled weather missives filled with my own storm photography, along with radar, satellite, and a myriad of short and long term weather models. My forecasts generally cover the entire tri-state area, providing the upcoming week, month ahead and seasonal outlooks, in addition to storm specific details answering the when, what and where. I add explanations on meteorological terms and events along with providing historical perspectives as well. Many reach out to me regularly for weather updates for all of their business/vacation travels, outdoor events, etc. Besides posting my storm pictures and videos on social media, I’ve given weather presentations to local rotary clubs and am a trained Skywarn spotter for the National Weather Services in Mt. Holly.

I made the decision to keep my website ad free. My costs to run my website, software and various subscriptions for models, radar, etc. are not steep yet help me create and provide the added benefits to all the hours and time spent researching, analyzing and writing up my blogs.

For those who find my posts and forecasts informative and helpful throughout the year, please consider making any donation that you feel is warranted. You can support me by clicking here on my Patreon Page which takes only a few minutes to setup or you can use the Venmo option to @weatherremarks. I truly appreciate any and all support!
