Hope everyone had an enjoyable and relaxing Thanksgiving! After a tranquil Friday and Saturday (unless you’re headed to the stores), we have ourselves a multi-day winter storm this Sunday into the beginning of the work week. This is complex system arriving from the northwest and combines with a secondary low that forms off the coast. It’ll serve a post thanksgiving feast of rain, sleet, ice and snow to the tri-state area up to southern New England.
This will impact travel at the airports and highways Sunday, especially later in the day and the Monday morning/evening commutes, so plan accordingly. I would take any forecasted snow totals with a grain of salt for now. I’ll be back later this evening or Saturday morning with all the details on what to expect on precip type, amounts and timing so stay tuned!
